Mini Brioche Buns

Various relative keep asking me if I can make smaller brioche buns, so I decided to order a mini-muffin tray and see what I could do.

The mini brioche buns (which you can see here, made along with 4 normal size ones to show scale) are 1/6 the size of full sized ones (based on the amount of dough used). I made half a dozen with a clementine curd (I made some last week and still had a jar of it) filling and three each with strawberry jam and blackcurrant jam fillings.

I used two normal buns worth of dough to make 12 of them, but they ended up being a bit small in the tin's holes, so I might use three buns worth next time (which would allow me to buy another tray and make batches of 24 buns from 6 normal buns worth of dough).
