How a dope made some rope

This is the rope I made to tie up the slippers. After searching for something to use I happened on some garden twine, which would look perfect were it not for the fact it was coloured dark green to fit in with the foliage it was designed to support. Then, remembering how worn out the colour becomes, I tried to age it by soaking some in water and adding a bit of bleach. I found this aged it perfectly in minutes.

Basically what I did was measure out five lengths of twine, tied one end up with some sewing thread, twisted it then tied up the other end and finally soaked them in boiling water with a dash of bleach, which caused them to become as they are now.
